Acer 7520 motherboard upgrade

Hello my acer 7520 is out of warranty and my AMD ddr2 motherboard died and i was wondering if i could upgrade it to get a ddr3 and a better amd processor, and is so how do i choose which motherboard to get

If you have a laptop, you will have to search ebay for a used board. I recommend a new laptop this coming black friday if you live in the states. Walmart had some for $199 last year. I had to wait six hours for a tv, so expect similar wait times. Otherwise, search for deals early on cyber monday; some will sell out fast. You could easily spend $200 for a replacement board and still have other problems. Getting a new system is your best option.
