First time building a computer

Hello,looking to build a pretty good gaming computer. I don't have a ton of knowledge but i have a good idea of what i want looking for suggestions please. thank you

  2. I would recommend going with either an i5 2500k, or an i7 970. the 2600k in my opinion is a waste of money in terms of gaming. the i5 is 95% as good for 65% of the price. thats a huge waste of mula that you could put toward a GTX580.
