Hey guys.
I'm currently thinking between these 3 graphic card's which one is mostly best for performance ?

Asus HD 6950 DirectCU II 1 GB
(http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/A...1GD5/#overview)

Sapphire HD 6950 TwinCooler 1 GB
(http://www.sapphiretech.com/presenta...=0001&pid=1271)

Sapphire HD 6950 1 GB
(http://www.sapphiretech.com/presenta...n=&lid=1&leg=0)

Gigabyte HD 6950 OC 1 GB
(http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...px?pid=3693#ov)

Also i will be only overclocking my GPU not unlocking it.
Recommend which one is best for gaming, runs quite and best for overclocking :)
Thanks :D

Would be easier to choose if we knew the total prices (including shipping) on the various cards --- they are all the same card with just a few differences in the coolers etc. so the price difference may be a deciding factor (ie. is a dual fan worth an extra few dollars -- probably but is it worth an extra $50 NO or is an extra year of warranty worth paying extra for etc. but hard to tell what the cost of the differences are if no price listing is given so hard to say which is the best buy !)

With the 560 Ti (900Mhz) available at $220, I don't see the 6950 as a worthwhile option....at least not at 1920 x 1200

Guru3D uses the following games in their test suite, COD-MW, Bad Company 2, Dirt 2, Far Cry 2, Metro 2033, Dawn of Discovery, Crysis Warhead. Total fps (summing fps in each game @ 1920 x 1200) for the various options in parenthesis (single card / SL or CF) are tabulated below along with their cost in dollars per frame single card - CF or SLI:

$ 240.00 6950 (479/751) $ 0.50 - $ 0.64
$ 260.00 6950 Frozr OC (484/759) $ 0.54 - $ 0.69
$ 205.00 560 Ti (455/792) $ 0.45 - $ 0.52
$ 360.00 6970 (526/825) $ 0.68 - $ 0.87
$ 220.00 560 Ti - 900 Mhz (495/862) $ 0.44 - $ 0.51

The 900Mhz versions easily OC to 1,000 MHz, all but one of the Asus ones I have used w/o needing any voltage tweaks.

^+1 on this!

Why get something too expensive when a GTX 560 Ti will work just fine.

If you don't like Nvidia and have the money, go with the cheapest one.
