Im building my first PC and am looking for advice on any builds you guys have in mind using the i7 990x or the i7 2600k. Id also like to know which processor would be a better fit for my kind of usage. Any suggestions on builds and or individual products i should look into such as gpu,RAM,ssd and such is greatly appreciated.

Upgrade to Blu-Ray if you want, its SLI ready/OC ready, also get more RAM if you want (I'm a fan of you can never have enough)

Alright thanks for all the help, one last question before i sign off for the night. Why i7-2600k and not i7-990x? Just curious as to if im losing anything by going with 2600k
