I have 2 models of XFX video cards I'm choosing from.

Any recommendations on picking 1 over the other.

Both have almost the exact same specs except 1 card is slightly larger than the other and the obvious is 1 fan vs 2.

To me it won't. Surfing, typing, etc, they should both be in 2D mode. I have a 5750 which I can't hear in that mode and with similar tiny 2D power draws I can't see this being much worse. Gaming is where you'll see heat, but I use headphones while gaming to prevent mic bleed over. If you use headphones as well, I doubt you'll hear it. There is the matter of extra heat, but you have a good case so as long as you have the case fans hooked up I don't see that as an issue. I vote you save the $30 but not everyone would agree.
