so I'm putting together a cheap build and i've already got a case, hdd, dvdrw and all the non vital components, i just need a mobo, ram, psu and cpu so I'm thinking Athlon tri core with some inexpensive fast ram and a mobo which has some room for upgrade and so far this is what i have

total cost: 138

what i want is to see if i can bring the price down any more and also i want to know if anyone from the UK has ordered from overseas before as newegg has the cpu at $80 which is allot cheaper than the UK

what do you need to know before ordering PC parts or anything really from overseas?

Hi :)

I run UK computer shops and would love to buy from the US....BUT... you have to pay IMPORT DUTY + VAT ...so you can add on around 25 to 30 % PLUS carriage....

Its not worth it im afraid....

All the best Brett :)
