Cherry Keyboard & Touch Mouse

Hi all,

I have a Cherry B unlimited keyboard and a Microsoft touch mouse. Every so often the mouse will jump on the screen. I turned off the keyboard and unplugged the dongle for the keyboard and the problem goes away. This is a replacement mouse from Microsoft because the previous one did the same thing. Now does anyone know of a workaround or any tips to solve this issue?

I think it is a motherboard issue.

Sounds like interference between the 2 wireless signals.

Check to see if either the keyboard or mouse has the option to switch channel or range. It could be in the software or a little switch/button on the device itself.

I say the motherboard, because when the dongle is removed for the keyboard, and keyboard turned off, the issue is still there. Back in the day I suppose I could strip things down and change the crystal, but i think things have changed since then.. even though I think that is too large a step.

Are you using a mouse mat or using it on a desk/table?
