I want a build that has the ability to handle numerous programs at once (I'm very ADD, so I like to run a lot of different programs simultaneously). I would also like to have superb gaming experience in all of the newest games on the market. I do work in Adobe programs, and video editing, but nothing too serious.

Approximate Purchase Date: Before mid January

Already Decided
CPU- Intel i5 2500k.
RAM- G.Skill 8G DDR3 1600 CL9 1.5V.
Harddrive- 2TB Seagate 5900 64mb sata3.
CD/DVD ROM- Blue Ray.
Power Source – 500W antec.
Monitor- Samsung 27 inch LED.

Delimma
Motherboard- ASUS P8Z68-V pro or ASRock Extreme4 GEN3 or similar? Why?
Graphics Card- Asus Radeon HD6950 1GB or Asus GTX560 Ti 1GB? Why?

Much Appreciated.

Eric

I'd get the Extreme3 Gen3 since it can be updated to support Ivy bridge but no so sure if true.
Both graphics card are more or less have the same performace.

The ASUS, GIGABYTE and MSI boards will have IvyBridge support as well. So really it is down to preference. For my new build, I went with ASUS because their warranty is longer and ASrock was a little unknown to me (although they seem to be a popular choice).

ASrock is the sister company of ASUS.
