Which mobo? asrock or gigabyte?

Although I personally prefer the Gigabyte brand, given those 2 choices I would choose the ASRock hands down.

Among other things, you can use dual GPU's, and it has a better power delivery system.

This board is on sale, about to pick it up myself for a friends build.

I just built two computers with ASRocks 970 EXTREME3 with one of the new FX 8 core processors from AMD. The overclocking is pretty forward. Just watch out for memory compatiblity issues, though I think I just got a bad stick in the dual channel set. I got http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... for it and I am running into an issue where the board wont switch to dual channel.
