Can gts450 run at PCI-E 4x mode

Intel P945 3.40GHz

Asus P5VDC-X (support both AGP8x or PCI-E16x but run at 4x mode Max)

I need to know if 450 or better could be use on this board or not

Replace that board before considering a new card. That board is trash even for that cpu.
