My current computer build is finally dying with severe memory issues (board or chips or both, can't pin it down). Currently have a qx6700 with old ddr2-1066 with gtx 570 card. Microcenter has a sale on processors and motherboards so I can pickup the i5 3570k unlocked for $170 and looking at 2 different mother boards, I'm not sure which one to get as I've been out of the parts game for many many years. I chose these 2 boards because they're both $94.99 with the sale.

Gigabyte- GA-Z77x-UD3H

I like the number of usb ports on this board but I've heard people have problems getting all to work

ASRock z77 Extreme 4

ASRorck wasn't even on the radar screen during my last build so I have no experience with them and know nothing about them or the quality of their product.

I'm not going to be overclocking, using stock cooler with the gtx 570 video card; is there any reason to choose one board over the other or does anyone have direct experience with any board that you wouldn't mind sharing? Thanks

get the asrock. More rich on features and heatsinks on vrm's make better for overclocking. Im using the asrock and no problems. Lots of people are running them at the moment,
