Hello everyone!
I have an HP Compaq 6005 Pro SFF (Business Class PC) that I have been upgrading and I am at the CPU stage of this upgrade. Currently HP is listing (with the latest BIOS upgrade of 1.16 Nov 2011) the highest/fastest CPU upgrade is the AMD Phenom II X4 B95 Processor (3.0 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache, 8 MB Total cache, HT bus 3.0) 95 W TDP for a whopping and unrealistic $409.

I am trying to find the equivalent OEM processor that would be of course more economical.

Would any of you have any recommendations/suggestions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Gary
