I was curious how many people that have a AMD64 or EMT64 CPU actually moved to 64 bit windows or Linux already.

I testing it but a few things I dont like about it. Logitech 8 button mouse will not work on it. I had to use a wireless Network to connect to the internet vers Onboard Motherboard network.

I am running windows 64 professional now that I have all my 64 bit drivers.

Its pretty much the same as regular XP except there are a few programs that do not run right.

As far a 64 bit applications, not much available other than a future game and a benchmark.

I expect more stuff to be moved to 64 bit now that Intel has started the push for multicore and em64t

I have a 64-bit CPU but it's not that I am not interested in the OS, but rather am waiting before I see if it's worth it after all or not. There are no upgrade offers for XP Home users either. Might even just wait for Longhorn.

Windows 64, the driverless 64-bit successor to Winoows XP, which is a patoh to Windows ME is the upgrade to Windows 98, which is a buggy browser running on top of a 32-bit extension and graphical shell for a 16-bit patch to an 8-bit operating system originally coded for a 4-bit microprocessor, written by a 2-bit company that can't stand 1 bit of competition!

Bastage.

That's right, laugh at the XP Home user.

The problem with 64bit is that there's no pr0n app yet that needs it.

That would be misleading customers as it suggests that Windows was actually made with (pre)human users in mind. At least you left out the Sapiens part (and with good reason).
