Asus motherboard 8 channel vs. xonar

long story short i am building a super gaming comp, with logitech z506 surround sound speakers, and a had a few questions, should i go with option 1 or 2


option 1: asus M5A97 8 channel mb, and no xonar sound card

option 2 asus M5A97 8 channel mb, and a xonar sound card


plz answer and have a reason

onboard sound has come a long way in recent years, so you'd probably be alright with just the mobo. You can always add the sound card later if you're not happy with it.
