Hi, beforehand would just like to say how appreciative I am that people on the internet can provide some sort of input for our hardware problems.
My problem, well I was playing wow today and my music was distorted which is a common problem for me. I was wondering why it would be doing that when my computer just turned off really abruptly. As I was restarting I noticed the cpu idle temp was at 68c. I've done a little reading online and I think it says for my cpu that the max temp is something like 70-75c. So, Temp is my problem... my psu is pretty new but it may be underpowered and that is about all I know in regards to this problem. My Computer was only powered up for about an hour when it happened, no extended usage, or intense use e.t.c. Are my Voltage Rails looking ok?
Lastly the computer has been in this configuration since we put it together last summer. If we put something in wrong then wouldn't this problem have occurred rather sooner? Such as a thermal paste error, or a cpu fan error/heatsink problem..

Do you have a stock heatsink on the CPU, and have you ever checked its temps before? It may just have a bad thermal compound set. I recommend that you buy a new tube (nothing fancy) and apply it carefully after cleaning off the heatsink and CPU.
Check your temps on the desktop after sitting idle for at least twenty minutes.
