Depends on how well that particular batch or strip is made.

How do you mean how well does it go from CAS3 to CAS2?

You mean you can change our the RAM operates? CHange it's operation from CAS3 to CAS2? If that's the case.. I would very much like to know..

Hey Grizely. Here's the only CAS2 133 Crucial review I've found. Doesn't look like they took it to its limits, though. The site seems a bit slow at the moment. I bookmarked it especially for you and Bubba. Heh!

didnt know you could let cas3 memory overclock to cas2
What would be the benefits and is there a risk involved in doing this?
I mean could the memery or mobo be damaged by doing this or will my system just freeze also in my bios there are two cas settings should i change both or just one ?

Hey man i dont know .. i just think i do !!

>>didnt know you could let cas3 memory overclock to cas2<<

some bioses allow this yes

>>What would be the benefits and is there a risk involved in doing this?<<

less latency .. better performance in memory intensive apps.

Not likely you will damage the mobo. Possible you could damage the memory.. still not likely. If the memory can't handle the timing, it will cause system instability.. from alot to a little depending. If you change both, it will be more aggressive than if you change one.
