U41J illuminated Chiclet keyboard?

Hello,

I have an Asus U41J. The specs are such, it has an illuminated chiclet keyboard.

How do you activate this? I have tried FN + F3 or F4, but it doesn't work.

isnt it automatic by light sensor?

ie it comes on as it gets darker like street lights

Nope that's never happened either. Doesn't turn on by itself. I've already tried!

Have you figured out how to turn it on yet? I have the same computer and am going crazy trying to figure this out!

had a bit of a look and i think it should be fn + f4

but you may need the ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities to make it work

does it work if you try it in the bios with fn+f4
