Cannot install new 500 gb internel hddin my desktop

in my desktop 160 gb seagate internal hdd is working properly but when i am trying to install seagate 500 gb internal hdd it is showing only bios error 5A always. my bios is also updated , my power cables are also god in condition. i cannot understand what to do please help me out.

you need to check your hdd and cd rom jumpers , 1 must in primary and the other in secondary or both in cable select , it maybe can help to fix problem if you use your new hdd in same ide cable.
