I want to be able to play fallout new vegas on my Computer. The only thing that does not meet the minimum system requirements is my processor which is a 2.20 Ghz processor. According to the back of the box fallout new vegas requires a 2.30 ghz processor. Will it be able to run the game?

Yes you should still be able to run it. The difference is between 2.20GHz and 2.30GHz is not that much. Also, if you have an Intel CPU, then you'll be even better since they can handle games better than AMD CPUs. Of course it depends on exactly which CPU you have since newer CPU series general performs better than older CPU series.

Personally I don't see why not. The game doesn't really need a stack of CPU power as there's not really a lot of physics to calculate.
My old PC is still going, it has a AMD 4200 dual core 2.2ghz or 2.4..cant remember but that's still playing games like portal 2, L4D2 and Just Cause 2 pretty well its surprising.
