New system advice? (mainly graphics)

Okay guys, I need your advice: I want the best graphics I can afford. What should I do, 3 GTX 570s? 2 GTX 580s? 1 GTX 590? A Radeon card? Idk. Anyway,

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Whenever I can get the money. Budget (for total system) $2800 Graphics: Well a chunk of that :p

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: I want games to look beautiful at a full HD res, all maxed settings, and the highest AA possible. I also want to go as long as possible without having to upgrade.

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: Again, since I'm building a new system, doesn't apply. But a note: I want my system to be powered by an i7-2600k (maybe 2500k if you guys think so)

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: I want my system to be powered by an i7-2600k (maybe 2500k if you guys think so) and at least 8 GB of ram.

PARTS PREFERENCES: I've heard Nvidia is superior, but I'm open to AMD suggestions.

OVERCLOCKING: OC: Maybe SLI: Most likely

MONITOR RESOLUTION:1920 x 1080, ONE monitor

1. at one monitor, even 1 GTX 580 is overkill by today's standards
2. HD 6950 2GBs are the best for Dual GPU configs for their Price, but still not worth buying unless u're running Tri-Screen
3. i5-2500K should be enough for a large majority of users

1 GTX 580 will max out metro 2033 DX11 AA on?

you have, not specified a purchase date but the new bulldozers are supposed to come out in a few weeks . there supposed to beat the core i7's

yes, even at 1920*1080 it will.......
I can max it out with a single 6950 and get around 30fps in most of the game,
1920*1080 DX11, tessellation On, AAA

Well I think I'll go with SLI GTX 580s, simply because I can afford them at my budget and still have a greast system everywhere else. But thanks anyway! =)
