My PC won't boot with my new RAM

Hi there,
I recently bought new RAM which consists of:
Corsair XMS3 2x4GB 1333MHz.

The motherboard I have is the GA-G41MT-D3V.
After installing the new RAM my PC wouldn't boot, it just went in a loop, trying to boot over and over again.
The RAM I had before was Corsair XMS3 2x2GB 16000MHz, so I don't understand if the new RAM aren't compatible with my MOBO,
since it is compatible with up to 8GB of RAM.
I have tried booting with a single RAM block at a time and that didn't work.
Any suggestions?

Yes, it boots just fine with the old RAMs

Not all DDR3 RAM kits are compatible. Try contacting Corsair and ask them about working RAMs for your board. On their site, this board's model is not listed.
Or choose RAMs from other manufacturers (ex: http://www.crucial.com/upgrade/Giga-Byte-memory/Giga-Byte+Motherboards/GA-G41MT-D3V-upgrades.html )

Updating the BIOS fixed the issue.
I read on the manufacturer's website that those exact RAM wouldn't work unless I updated.
