Hi, because I was a stupid impulse buyer the other day, I bought this 8GB DDR3-1866 stick thinking it was actually two sticks. But before I send them back I want to make sure that this motherboard, a dual channel, cannot work with just a single stick of RAM. And the processor I am buying is the FX-6300.

Best solution

a c 241 } Memory
a c 1097 V Motherboard

It will work as single channel no problem. You can later add another identical one for dual channel.
