Hdmi input on a GPU

Is it impossible to set the HDMI in the rear of a gpu to an input rather than output?
Im aware that if it were possible that there would have to be custom drivers, software mods etc. But has it ever been done?

Some low-profile cards have a cable connecting the vga so it can be mounted on the bracket above, such as:

So if there's one with the HDMI on the cable instead of a VGA, it would be possible without any kind of major modding or drivers hax.

EDIT: After searching Newegg, none of the low profile cards there have the HDMI on the cable thingy.

I'm not sure if jrayan388 misread the post or what, but no, you can't make the output of the video card act as in input. It sounds like jrayan was looking for a way to extend the HDMI port to another area, not actually a way to use it as a HDMI input.

Yeah I've got a capture card in at the moment. I was just wondering if anybody has every done it before.
