New $1000 Build advice

Hey guys, IM gonna be building this PC around christmas, and I want advice on what parts to get and what changes I should make. Should I go with ATI or NVidia ect. I will be using for video editing and rendering in sony vegas and after effects as well as gaming. check it out:

Don't get a green drive as your primary HDD. You'll be disappointed in the performance. Go for the Western Digital black drive or a Samsung spinpoint.
