If say I am running a computer with the following components, what power supply will be more suitable, 300W or 250W :-
Athlon TB 1.2Ghz
Abit KT7-RAID
256 SDRAM
GeForce2 MX card
30GB U100 HD
Floppy Disk Drive
Viewsonic E790 19" monitor
MS Natural Keyboard Pro
MS Intellimouse Explorer
10x DVD Drive
SB Live ! Value
2 (two) network cards
CD-Rewriter
Orb Socket A cooling fan

300 watts. Unless you want to watch your computer do absolutely nothing.

Now a days, 300W especially with the T-Bird.

With the recent AMD processors, I'd say 300w is a minimum. More would be better, of course.

I would say a Emermax 350Watts. That power supply rocks. I got it for $50 from colorcases.com I have Dual PIII 850's with 2 HD and CD and CDRW with Geforce 2 MX dual video out running 2 monitors and (Never a problem) DONT SKIMP ON POWER!!
