Screen stays black

I woke up this morning to my computer turned off. I switched it on, it made all that dandy fanning computer noise but my screen was stuck on black and the little light on it was orange.

I tried unplugging the power cables, tried a different monitor, switching back to my old ram, switching around the ram, one ram stick, etc etc. I tried taking out my video card and reseating it back as well. There is a red light on my motherboard "VGA Led" and I can't figure out what that means.

It means that either the graphics card doesn't work or the power supply fails in powering the graphics card.
Try testing the video card in a different PC. See if it does work.

Is there any other way to see if its the power supply? I mean everything is working and I can see my keyboard/mouse turning on, lights flashing and all.

The only other computer I have is like 9 years old, I dont think it would work

It might be a problem with the pcie power rails. Do you have a pcie graphics card that doesn't require pcie power?

No I do not :/. Oh about a couple of days ago while tabbed into games, my game would randomly freeze but I'd be able to tab back into windows and use all other functions. I'm not sure if that could help determine the problem

Either a graphics card issue or a power supply one. The easiest way to find out is by swapping parts.
