Question about different yet same memory.

I currently have 2x4GB of Patriot Viper Xtreme DDR3 memory (PC3-12800, DDR3 1600MHz), and since I multitask a lot and run out of memory often, I'm planning on getting 8GB more.

Planning on getting the same exact memory, but prices and names of other Patriot models have me confused. Particularly, Patriot Viper 3 and Viper 3 Intel Extreme Masters, which are both cheaper than what I have right now, but are the same general specs (2x4GB, PC3-12800, DDR3 1600MHz).

I know I propably won't see a difference performance-wise, but in terms of compatibility or power usage or whatever else, should I stick with buying the same current model, or get either of the Viper 3s just for their price?

If the same voltage and timings they should run together.

Oh, shoot. I hadn't noticed the voltage and latency are different for my current RAM and the Viper 3 types. So, for best results, I'm sticking with Viper Xtreme. Thanks!
