In order to view Chinese characters on the menu of a
Chinese IM client I am using to communicate with family
abroad, I changed the system locale to PR China. I
restarted the computer, and now the IM client does
display Chinese characters on the menu. Now, though, I
can't open any folders, especially Control Panel and My
Computer. I don't know how to correct the problem, since
I can't access Control Panel. Is there some other way I
may change my system locale back to the United States or
make it so that my Chinese programs display menus in
Chinese and the rest of my computer works normally? Your
help is appreciated!
