Phenom II x4 965 Black

Motherboard states if I want 1866mhz from ram then I'd need an AM3+ cpu. PII is an AM3, which is the same thing, correct? How do I enable it in the bios?

No. AM3+ CPU's are Bulldozer and Piledriver.
