Looks like this is a file system error, Can be fixed likely with the chkdsk utility.

Look at this link:
http://forums.techguy.org/windows-xp/567245-solved-stop-0x00000024-0x00190203-0x82eca898.html

Points to the microsoft support article that says to run chkdsk...
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=228888&sd=RMVP
Recommend the chkdsk /r as step 4 suggests if its booting at least.

Click the start menu - Open the "run" application. And type "cmd" which loads the console, then chkdsk /r

If its not booting, then you gotta follow the recovery console steps possibly "Using Recovery Console on a Single Drive Computer"

Or try safe mode, by tapping F8 on start up, which might allow you in. Same steps as above to click the "run" application.

Bug Check 0x24: NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM

The NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM bug check has a value of 0x00000024. This indicates a problem occurred in ntfs.sys, the driver file that allows the system to read and write to NTFS drives.

More likely then not, you have a dieing HDD. Run chkdsk ASAP, in case your drive is failing, so you have a chance to backup your important data.

There is also a *small* chance a memory bug could cause this issue, and if so, I'd expect other BSOD's to pop up.
