hello guys
currently i am running i5 760 @ 3.4 Ghz with stock heatsink ( overclocked with the core voltage at auto as i am stuck with dh55tc mobo ;will upgrade after the 2nd gen ivy bridge comes.. long time i know :| . I have increased the base clock from 133 to 161 and it is perfectly stable after hours of battlefield 3 .The idle temp is 31c but the max temp is 77 c.
So i was thinking of reapplying a good TIM or buying a decent air cooler ( i am thinking about cooler master hyper 212 evo).
i have noticed that the space on my mobo is not that much and i was wondering whether the hyper 212 evo's 120 mm fan will get obstructed by the graphics card..i hope u guys are getting what i am saying.
given that the cooler fits
should i get the thermal compound or the cooler and which one is better
cooler master thermal fusion 400
cooler master ic essential E2 -- it has better thermal conductivity than thermal fusion 400
arctic cooling mx-2
my case is haf 912 advanced with the stock fans.
thanks
