Not enough power holes, in the future?

With the next gen video cards due in 2012, I was wondering what type of power connectors we might see in them. The 580 and below use a 6 pin and 8 pin while 590 uses 2x 8 pins. Will the future be 2x 8 pin power? Thanks

I'm hoping that a combination of die shrinks plus people redeveloping their senses of value and general awareness of "using" vs. "wasting," will bring the power requirements of even top-end GPUs down to needing no more than one 6+2 pin auxiliary power connector. In the near future, however, I suspect you'll still need a pair of them.
