Hi. I'm new to PC building. Have always just store bought but now realize just how little you get for how much you spend.

Approximate Purchase Date: Around Christmas time.

Budget Range: $1500AUD but am pretty flexible.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, general internet browsing.

Parts Not Required: Hard Drive, RAM, Mouse, Keyboard, Speakers, OS and possibly monitor.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: www.pccasegear.com

Country of Origin: Australia

Parts Preferences: Intel, Nvidia, I like the look of the Coolermaster cases.

Overclocking: Maybe, once I've read up on it and feel comfortable.

SLI or Crossfire: Yes, not straight away but later down the track will add another 580.

Monitor Resolution: 1680x1050,

Additional Comments: Already have a good idea on a few of the parts I want (see below). Not sure on a MoBo, PSU & monitor.

Intel Core i5 2500K

EVGA GeForce GTX 580

CoolerMaster HAF 932 Case

CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ CPU Cooler

Subtotal = $980.00

It might also help to know that I'm using 2x4gb Kingston DDR3 / 1333mhz

Would appreciate any feedback regarding parts already chosen, compatibility, whether a monitor with a HDMI input is something I should be looking at and any other suggestions. Thanks.
