AMD Athlon X2 4450e Can support what graphics cards?

My cousin has a compaq model sr5710f and looking for a low-end or low/mid-end graphics cards and i'm wondering which can he get and how to tell. This would be of great support thank you.

Without replacing the power supply, you'd be looking at a GeForce 7300LE or 6200SE. That model Compaq only has a 250watt power supply, which eliminates the vast majority of dedicated graphics cards.

Well how about getting a 700 watt PSU then what would you recommend?

If you're looking for a low-end graphics card, a 400-450watt power supply would handle the GT210, GT220, GT240, GTS430 or GT520. just fine.

A quality 500-520watt unit would work find for a GTS450, GTX460 or GTX550Ti....however, these cards are likely to be hindered by your Athlon X2 4450e.

Dont upgrade save money to buy new system its waste of money and time. If the system is below 3months u can upgrade. Change gpu u wont get more performance.
