This is my first post!

I am thinking of buying a motherboard with a 8 pin CPU power plug required but my psu only has 4pin on it. Will this be a problem with cpu power? Or is it 4+4 and does it not matter? And if it does can I buy an adapter for it? Thanks in advance! :)

if it only has 4 pins (new power supplies are supposed to have a 4+4), it will still work. just that you cant overclock as much. if you are not overclocking, it should be sufficient

look at mobo manual so that you know where to plug the 4 pin into
