Looking for some opinions ... doing a new build for a particular
game launching in Dec.

BETA runs decently on medium settings on my current build but max's both core's at 90%.
Said system is getting long in the tooth so its that time just not looking to break the bank.

Currently running ...

MSI K9A2-CF V1
Athlon 64 X2 5200+ (OC'd to 3.0)
4 Gigs OCZ Reaper DDR2
4 160 Gig SATA Drives (Not Raided, I'm just compulsively organized)
1 7200 IDE Drive (misc storage)
1 Lacie External 1 TB USB
Sapphire 4870HD (OC'd 760GPU / 920Mem)
Thermaltake V3 Black Edition Mid tower
Dual 24 inch HD monitors

Planned Upgrades (now comes the opinions and advice / No I won't buy Intel) ...

ASRock 990FX Extreme4
Phenom II X6 1100T Black *OR* Phenom II X4 960T Zosma and unlock it?
G.SKILL Ripjaw DDR3 1066 8gig (2x4) Cas 7 / 7-7-7-18
Antec DF-85 Black Full Tower

Possibles/Thinking about ...

An SSD, for the OS or Dedicated to the Game? Worth the cost?

Have an opportunity to pick up another 4870HD identical to mine for $40.
Crossfire make a noticeable difference? or better off waiting a month or
2 and upgrading to a new single card maybe?
