Bring the Hammer BACK!

Please bring back the Tom's Hammer for the icon of having five or more badges of a certain level. The "badge icon" on top of the badge icon just looks bad in post & is more confussing, plus the Tom's Hammer looked cooler!!

The tool tip doesn't explain what the badge icon represents anymore either. It used to say you had 5 or more bronze, silver or gold badges. Now it's just part of the link to your profile page like your username is.

Yea I'd prefer the hammer (not that I have one), and possibly a nicer looking icon for the medal, although that's less important since you don't always see it. The bronze medal icon just looks like a brown spot.

We are still trying to understand everything that changed from the old forum, and they keep changing, and changing stuff.

nOObs with more points than veterans? That is because the vererans of THGC were given .3 'Points' for their previously accumilated posts. I should have about 40,000 points for 10K posts at 10k x 4 points = 40,000 points. Vets were also ripped off of their previously accumilated 'best answers'. The French owners are the real nOObs. When the French owners EBAY auction this forum, I hope the bidders pause and realize the French will surrender immediately when the 'bidding war' begins.

Making veteran now is easy. Then it takes a while to hold the next title which is 'addict'. Then it takes like 100,000 points to become like a regular adict. Being a Pusher is the obvious step up from Addict. Point totals should reflect status related to level of Surrender Monkey. The French tech guy is a Level 2, but not on the Forum, in French funny bars.

If I used my post count from my own board, I'd almost be Master Gigolo of THGC.

If I converted that post count to the current post points system, I'd have 168,000 points.
