Troubleshooting for windows 7 professional display

Hello,
how do i play games and see videos on full screen.My current resolution is 768*1366, however the games appear in 800*600 format and the settings in the game also dont help.

Sometimes there is a full screen option under the "options" section of the game, and if your playing games with lower max resolutions (800x600, while you have 768x1366) like that, you need to turn down your game resolution to that or the game will compensate for the higher resolution by sizing down the screen so the pixelation is at what you set it for, thus giving you black bars... Hope this helps!
