Computer Crashes when play any 3d games

hello,Everytime i play a 3d game my pc crashes my tower lights stay on but my mouse/keyboard and screen stops working i look it up everybody says it the screen but i tryed it on another screen still does it,tryed the onboard and still does it, i dont know what to do with this machine


mobo:BoiStar TA790GXE 128M
CPU:amd phenom ii x4 955
Videocard:ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2
Memory (RAM): G-Skillz 4.00 GB
Screen:samsung Syncemaster 2493hm
windows 7 ult

Agreed, we are going to have to know the PSU.

Also are you overclocking at all? Have you checked temps of both the CPU and GPU?

Forgot to mention I have a bfg 1000watt psu it worked fine with my old mobo witch was a Biostar GF8200C M2+ and the 4870x2
and no overclocking,

when i play games it only goes up by 10-15c

IF these problems only cropped up after a MB swap...

Clean install, latest chipset /GPU drivers, MB BIOS settings, and, if probs still persist:

Test video card in another machine, if possible....
Try another video card and/or PSU in your system

Unfortunately, if none of these options points to a bad component, the possibilities of a bad MB can't be discounted...

After the bios update been play for a few hrs and nothing. thanx for the help guys
