GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3: @Bios won't update to F10

I am stumped here. I must be doing something stupid.

GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 ver. 1.3... i3-2100. Currently have BIOS version F9. Windows 7 - 64 bit Prem.

although @bios keeps telling me rev.1.0 ...bug? My box says rev.1.3. Should I actually look on the MOBO? I would assume so, since I don't want to hose anything up.

Anyhow, the @BIOS won't let me update to F10. I was going to Q-flash, but am sort of wondering why the @bios application won't let me update from the 'GIGABYTE server' past the BIOS version F9?

Am I missing something basic? Should I not do it? I want to do it becuase I am having USB 3.0 issues.

I downloaded the F10 zip. Unzipped it, but wasn't sure which file to open using the @BIOS application.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ser

More about z68ma bios update
  1. You go by the revision number on the motherboard, not what is printed on the box.
  2. Thanks. I will pull out my HTPC and do a check tomorrow. Figured that was the only rational option. Pain in the butt.

Soryy about the multiple posts. web errors.
  3. Gigabyte said there @BIOS app has some issues so it could never figure out the MOBO REV I have nor update to the latest firmware.

All updated now though, no issues.
  4. Glad you have everything running good!
