New Build, Shipping Early December

Hey guys,

This will be my first self-built system. I always wanted to build my own but never had the financial resources available to justify spending my money on a gaming computer. With my new job its now a reality and I was wondering what you guys thought about my setup? ANY and ALL advice is welcome, positive or negative! :)

Case- NZXT Crafted Series Phantom Black / Green Trim Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Motherboard- ASRock Z68 PROFESSIONAL GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Processor- Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I72600K

Graphics- HIS IceQ X Turbo X H695QNX2G2M Radeon HD 6950 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

SSD- 2 X Crucial M4 CT064M4SSD2 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Monitor- ASUS VW246H Glossy Black 24" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor

Those are the basic components. What do you guys think? Oh, and its Windows 7.

I do think you can save way more. You defiantly don't need a 2600K, in gaming, HT barely makes a difference, save 100 bucks going with a 2500K. You also don't need the HX750 which is very overpriced. Check out my build guide right here:

I wouldn't recommend RAID 0 SSDs since you lose TRIM support, with that said, go with one large 128gb M4 or just go with a single 64gb M4 for OS.
