hello, i have a dell inspiron 620.
it only have 4gb's of ram, i would like to upgrade that to the 8gbs of ram (which is the max it can have.)

i recently moved from my fathers house, and he is the person that upgraded my old computer. i do know how to put new ram in, the problem i am having is, i'm not totally sure what kind of ram i can use!

Speccy states this about my ram.

I have contacted dell, they told me the max i can upgrade is 8gb, which is more then enough.
other than that, they didn't speak english well enough to understand my further questions.

heres my whole computer setup:
Name: Dell inspiron 620
CPU: intel i3 2120 3.3ghz dual
GPU: dell hd 2000 <-- will be upgrading along with ram, any help on this would be great also.
PSU: as far as i know, its 300 watt, let me know if i need to upgrade this.

so, here is my issue:
I see RAM on both Newegg and Amazon, but what i don't understand is the part that says 1600Mhz, 1333 Mhz. 1066 Mhz.
I don't understand what will fit inside my computer, and i don't know which form of (Mhz) is better.
also, there is 204-pin, and 240 pin. and i would rather not buy the wrong kind!

I'm sorry if no one understands my question. i would be more then willing to type this out any way needed!
also, if anyone needs my Motherboard specs, let me know!

thank you so much in advance to anyone that is willing to help. like i said, my father showed me how to insert the ram, i'm just having trouble picking the best ram for me.

Memory Type: DDR3 PC3-12800, DDR3 PC3-10600, DDR3 (non-ECC)
Maximum Memory: 8GB
Slots: 2
Each memory slot can hold DDR3 PC3-12800, DDR3 PC3-10600 with a maximum of 4GB per slot

just go with 1600mhz. they are backwards compatible. 240 pin
