When i run prime 95 my sound isnt choppy

Hello,

I'm running out of options here and could use some fresh input. The problem i am having is when i stream a online class the sound is very choppy. So i downloaded prime 95 and ran it. I opened up the class and started prime 95 and the sound is perfect. I'm confused by how the CPU is running at 100% with prime 95 running and it fixes my audio issue. Please help....
Its a laptop running a core 2 duo processor with 2 gb pc 5300 and a 160 5400 RPM drive.

It does not sound like a CPU issue, but rather a network bandwidth issue. You might want to check your Internet speed and latency with SPEEDTEST. Are you connected by a wired or wireless connection? If you play YouTube videos are they also "choppy?"

I thought it might be bandwith also. But i'm hard wired into a T1 line. The speed is fantastic. Also when i play youtube video's they play perfectly. This is honestly really confusing to say the least.

It sounds like it is a bandwidth issue at the other end, maybe too many users for their hardware/connection? YouTube has plenty of capacity, which is why you have no issues there. I really don't think that it is on your end.
