my goal is a rig that can run BF3 on Ultra settings with getting 60fps or greater.
1920 by 1080 screen res.

The mobo will work for the crossfire but your going to need a more powerful CPU or O.C. a lot more for BF3.It's very CPU demanding and it was taxing mine to 90% and i'm at 3.8ghz

Well I have a Phenom ii x4 965 @3.8ghz and while the 930 is much faster it seemed that it liked really fast CPU's.When I was asking around on the BF3 Alpha forums people with 2500k's were maxing out at 70%.

It shouldn't be that difficult to get a higher clock.Just get a good aftermarket heatsink and you should be able to get to 3.6ghz or 3.8ghz.That's really all you should need.
