I currently have a 5770. I run a two monitor setup right now, DVI to each monitor - is it possible to run a third monitor through the HDMI port of the card? I'm looking into getting a third monitor for my setup.

This is the card:
XFX HD-577A-ZNFC Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150447)

No one monitor has to be plugged into DisplayPort. It can be directly or an Active DisplayPort adapter. The other two monitors can be a combination of DVI and HDMI if you like.

Adapters:
Single Link DVI

Dual Link DVI

I experianced subpar Eyefinity performance when I was running the 5770 1GB. I have since upgraded to a 6950 2GB. However this could be influenced by what resolution you are trying to push. My setup is 3x 1920x1080 so 5760x1080 (3 million Pixels)
