Under 100

I'm building my girlfriend a computer, whe'll be playing sims, dragon quest, team fortress 2, and other mid-graphic level games like dota, dota2, heroes of newerth.

I need a GPU that will eat these games up on max settings for under $100 bucks. Is that possible? Lower the price for = performance the better.

Either the GTS450 or 6670 is probably the best cards at that price point.Depending on your resolution you should be able to max out all those games.

Honestly amigo, for that money simply go integrated graphics. Save the money and make an upgrade next year.

It's old tech, a bit power hungry and isn't DX11 but it's pretty powerful for the price and should do great on all the games you listed even at high resolutions.
If you are ok with mail in rebates to get it down to $100 then you can go for a more current card with better power efficiency and DX11 compatibility and similar performance;

Hmm, the HD6770 I linked seems to have gone up in price $10 in the last few hours since then. Here is a different one that is still that price;
