sure it works , but dont buy it

Only use AMD motherboards that are AM3+ with a black socket IMO . These will let you upgrade later on .
Ideally use a board with a 970 series chipset .

For RAM , if you use one stick you lose the advantages of dual channel . Spend the money to get 2 x2 gig of 1333 Mhz or 1600 Mhz that runs at 1.5 volt [or less ]

If you need to save a bit of money then drop the psu back to 500- 550 watt
