So I'm going through spare parts to fix an old rig and found these CPUs in a couple of Dell machines that I have sitting in the computer graveyard (My garage).

CPU #1:
Pentium 4 630

CPU #2:
Pentium 4 540J

I'm thinking that the 2MB cache will put the first CPU ahead of the second...the PC is running XP Pro SP3, and I don't really think it needs to go to Win7 so the 64-bit architecture wouldn't make a huge difference. I'm just looking for some other professional opinions before I stick one of them in there, apply thermal paste, and put the heatsink on. Not something I enjoy doing once, let alone twice =)
