Which Wireless router to get with Comcast

So I am planning on switching to Comcast in a few months and I was wondering what router I should buy? What I am looking for is a router with good range (heard that N routers have good range) like good enough range to cover a house going through several walls. Currently I am with at&t and my wireless router does not even reach my bedroom which is about 50-60 feet away from it and through 4 walls. So what would you all suggest? And do you know if my ipod touch 4th generation would work with a wireless N router? Thanks for your posts (future posts I guess) guys, I really appreciate it.

Even a new N-router might not reach 50-60 feet through 4 walls. You might have to add a Wireless Bridge/Repeater half way. Buy one and test it otherwise you need to get another that can support Bridge/Repeater

I like Linksys E2000 or E3000

You should not have any problems connecting your iPad since N router support B,G, and N devices.

Okay thanks, is there any reasons to get the e3000 over the e2000?

the E3000 will dual band wifi the E2000 will only do either 2.4 or 5 but not both at the same time.

the E3000 has a USB port that you can connect a external drive to and share it on the network (NAS).
