This will be the second pc ive built. its been 3-4 years so its about time. im not a huge gamer but i like having an ample rig. D3 will be my game of choice if/when it ever comes out. I do some vid/pic work as well.

And so here is my plan:

Corsair Special Edition White Graphite Series 600T Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

CORSAIR Professional Series Gold AX650 650W ATX12V v2.31 / EPSV12 v2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC High Performance

GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3P LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I72600K

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Profile Desktop Memory Model CML8GX3M2A1600C9

EVGA 01G-P3-1460-KR GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

LITE-ON Black 12X Blu-ray Burner with Blu-ray 3D feature SATA IHBS112-29 (Including CyberLink BD Solution) - OEM

Crucial M4 CT064M4SSD2 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

CORSAIR H100 (CWCH100) Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Windows 7

I think this should hum along nicely. The newegg price w/ s+h is $1497 and then there was $35 in rebates to send in.

One question that I have: is the psu powerful enough to push this thing? I dont want to just run up my bill for nothing and i like the modular design of this one.

thanks!

Bro i would say that is a solid build, I have the same Mobo for upgrading later on.
It looks pretty future proof.

AND

That case is pretty damn hot, If i were out at a dance club and saw you with that case I would totally invite you back to my place for a "LAN"

cheers
